First pairing up in 2021, via the thunderous track 1234, multi platinum award winning Producer/Artist Taka Perry and champion Hip-Hop/Rap Artist Leon Fanourakis have since forged a close creative partnership, now teaming up for their first full length record release.
Enter THE GRIFFIN TAPES; an EP that compliments each of Leon and Taka’s unique yet perfectly synced sonic visions. Already well known in the Japanese Hip-Hop, Rap, Trip-Hop and Electronic scenes, the pair snapped up Hip-Hop royalty SEEDA and Issugi, adding to the EP’s notably high calibre of home-grown Japanese talent.
Casting their creative net even wider, THE GRIFFIN TAPES features artists from a collection of different territories including RAMENGVRL (Indonesia), Sokodomo (Rep. of Korea) and BENZO LI (China), plus PANIA and YNG MARTYR from Australia and C.J. Fly from the US.
