Known until now as a highly talented ‘behind-the-scenes’ producer, Flagrant Artists is extremely proud to announce that FAM Roster member Ben Oldland is galvanizing a brand-new venture of becoming a front-facing artist.

Having been profoundly shaped by his experiences as a producer, Ben is bringing together years of collaborations, technical expertise, and personal storytelling into his transformative debut artist project HEADRUSH.

Representing the culmination of his musical journey so far, this pioneering project is more than just a collection of songs. HEADRUSH is all-encompassing; seeing Ben delve far further into the realms of creative experimentation to bring sonic and visual elements together.

HEADRUSH is my first solo artistic project—a statement of self, crafted from years of creative evolution and personal experience

Drawing inspiration from the shoegaze movement; particularly its ability to blend beauty with raw intensity, HEADRUSH moves beyond genre constraints, incorporating elements of alternative pop and indie rock, with a focus on vivid, evocative lyricism.

This metamorphic project amalgamates Ben’s music with a unique, immersive live show. Comprising of captivating visuals and intricate lighting, HEADRUSH creates an otherworldly atmosphere.

An exploration into the extremes of the human psyche, the HEADRUSH project’s themes of mental health, identity, and emotional duality are woven into its sonic and visual element that in turn, fosters connection, self-reflection, and dialogue.that invites the audience to engage with music not just as entertainment, but as a deeply personal and immersive experience.
