Beginning his industry career in 2004, the Founder of Flagrant Artists, Nate, is the personification of a music industry maestro. Although famed for introducing us to the then 12 year-old international star Ruel, and pop sensation Amy Shark, Nate has plenty of other accolades on his list.
Formally an award-winning turntablist, Nate is known for developing the names of some of Australia’s most successful Hip-Hop artists including Illy, Hilltop Hoods, Bliss n Eso, Briggs and Grammy award winning super producer M-Phazes.
Always thinking one step ahead of the pack, Nate is an unofficial industry mentor, with businesses and artists regularly reaching out to get a fresh perspective, advice or encouragement. Nate’s business model has a proven track record of success, which can be seen with the ever-growing number of plaques mounted on the office walls!
After spending a good 15 years in the roles of independent manager, band member (and occasional roadie), Daniel joined Nate at Flagrant Artists in 2016.
Swiftly taking on the role of FAM Co-Director, Daniel is the business Yin to Nate’s Yang. Responsible for onboarding some of the company’s most successful and dynamic names including producer/artist Taka Perry, and FAM’s most recent roster addition, viral icon Ūla, Daniel undoubtedly has the coveted industry skill of discovering new talent.
Although FAM has a strong global focus, Daniel’s expertise shines in South East Asia. Having spent the past several years investigating industry insights in those territories, Daniel continues to make exceptionally valuable connections across numerous music businesses including labels, DSP’s, promoters and publishers throughout SEA territories.
An ex-artist himself, Daniel brings a wealth of experience in nurturing musical talent and is dedicated to developing the individual style of each artist he works with.
Emma left the comfort of the APS to join FAM in 2014, making her the team’s OG. Her work at FAM cannot be reduced to a small paragraph, but we’re doing it anyway!
As our Director of Operations, Emma is integral to every single thing FAM does, or is planning to do. In her own words, she’s “…like a sub-par Scotland Yard”.
You can catch her writing an artist’s latest press release, sorting our international visas, confirming backstage riders (don’t forget the signed photo of Jeremy Renner!), and throwing the hottest, often bizarre homemade memes into the FAM group chat. Emma is the heart and soul (and logistics queen) of FAM.
Starting off in the industry as a live music photographer, FAM’s Marketing Director and Artist Manager Chloe was quickly snapped up by the team in 2021. From the get-go, her natural managerial instincts were strikingly obvious, which led to her touring the world twice over with multi-award-winning sensation Ruel.
Chloe brings an extremely wise, strategic and creative approach to all FAM projects, and has spearheaded some of FAM’s most successful online campaigns.
As the newest FAM gang addition, Andie has changed all our lives for the better, joining the team as Nate’s Assistant (plus so much more)!
A massive fan of live music, Andie has a passion for festival globe-trotting; and with her finger on the pulse with an impressive knowledge and insight for current music trends, Andie has quickly become the FAM team’s go-to for all new Pop and Electronic releases.
Self proclaimed as “chronically online”, Andie is FAM’s eyes and ears for anything and everything tending. Together with Chloe, the always on-point duo ensure that FAM keeps in sync with everything viral.
